Web Development

Web Development, It's our Forte

We've been building websites since 2011, and have seen all the trends that have come and gone. Our websites are fully bespoke and never use templates, meaning that the site you end up with is designed exactly the way you want it, with all the bespoke functionality you may need.

Why Choose Us?

Click here to see how Euro Axle witnessed a £30k uplift in sales within 6 weeks of launching a new digital platform with us.

Your website is the first point of contact prospective customers have with your business. It is also your chance to make a good first impression, and answer any questions your customers may have. That's why choosing how to have your website built is such an important decision.

It is also important to know that your website can grow with your business, knowing that it can be extended with new features and functionality that you may not need now, but will need in the future. When you partner with JB Cyber Services for your website build, the website you end up with is designed to your exact specification, and is never crammed into a Wordpress template. You do not need to worry about Wordpress plugin updates, security vulnerabilities, or death by a thousand subscriptions when you need something beyond basic functionality.

It is also important to know that we provide a Web Development service, not just web design. This means that we actually build your website, rather than dragging and dropping things together to make them look nice, without understanding the underlying technology or how to optimise it. Everything we build is secure and optimised, ensuring high Core Web Vitals scores and seamless user experiences.

Accessibility as Standard

Accessibility is one of the most important aspects of modern web design and development, something a lot of agencies overlook. Websites should be designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of disability. Studies also suggest that websites which are built to be accessible end up having a higher authority score and, subsequently, higher traffic.

Accessible design is especially important for e-commerce sites, to ensure that those who navigate the site using a screen reader can access all the information they need to understand your products, and to allow them to complete their purchases as seamlessly as a sighted user would.

All of our websites, including those that use our off-the-shelf products, are designed around accessibility and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG - 2.2).

Where we Work

We are based in Exeter, Devon. We will typically work with our clients remotely, though we can also arrange for your account manager, or a technical consultant, to visit your office to discuss your project. We can also facilitate meetings in our Exeter (Southernhay Gardens) office if you prefer.

Depending on the length and complexity of your project, we will make regular contact with you. For larger projects this may include scheduling weekly or fortnightly catch-up meetings to discuss progress and timelines. You will also be provided with contact information for your project manager should you have any questions.

Beyond the Build - What happens next?

What happens following the completion of your project will vary. We offer fully managed service plans, including hosting, support, maintenance and ongoing security updates. We also offer ongoing service packages including content strategy consultancy, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) consultancy, and more.

In addition to our consultancy services we also offer a range of fully-managed services for your continued growth. These include managed content plans. A managed content plan starts with consultancy to develop a content strategy, then it switches to a no-touch plan, meaning that you can focus on what you do best, leaving us to produce high-quality content for your website in accordance with the content strategy.

We also offer ongoing managed SEO plans. These are designed to help you improve your website's ranking in search engines over time, to help drive more "organic"* traffic to your website.

You don't have to decide what services you need upfront, or immediately after your site is finished. We are always happy to go through the options available to you, and discuss what may work best for your business' goals.

*Organic traffic refers to the number of people who find and visit your website naturally through search engines, like Google, without seeing an advertisement.
